# Mishmar docs > How to set up Mishmar, step by step: trading accounts, agents, and the split keys they trade with. Mishmar puts a policy engine between a trading agent and the venue. Every order the agent proposes is checked against the owner's limits, and the venue key is split between the agent's signer and Mishmar, so neither can trade alone. Each page below is plain Markdown. All of them in one file: https://docs.mishmar.io/llms-full.txt ## Start here - [Mishmar docs](https://docs.mishmar.io/index.md): What Mishmar does, and where to start setting up a trading account and an agent. - [Install the mishmar CLI](https://docs.mishmar.io/start/install-the-cli.md): Download the mishmar binary for macOS or Linux, check it against the release's checksums, and put it on the PATH of the machine your agent runs on. ## Hyperliquid - [Add an agent on Hyperliquid](https://docs.mishmar.io/hyperliquid/add-an-agent.md): Give an agent its own trading key on a Hyperliquid trading account, split between the agent's signer and Mishmar. Console steps, two commands on the agent's machine, the master wallet's approval and a test order. ## Optional - [Website](https://mishmar.io/llms.txt): what Mishmar is, who it is for - [Source](https://github.com/mishmar-io/mishmar): the CLI, the signer, the Python and TypeScript SDKs, the API contract
